Who am I?

I am 29 years old and grew up in a small village called Boxholm. As a child, I used to hang around with my grandma in her kitchen when she was cooking and baking. It was here my interest in food started to grow. Grandma’s kitchen became a place of warmth and kindness, she cooked with a lot of love.

I try to apply this love in my cooking nowadays. I begin from a Nordic foundation but I gladly borrow spices and flavors from all over the world. I am passionate about trying to make my guests curious but at the same time, the most important thing for me is that the food tastes great. When I cook I use ingredients that I like a lot myself and I try to work with sustainable products and I try to avoid waste as much as possible.

I have been working at several restaurants in Sweden who has one or two stars in Guide Michelin. My career path started at PM & Vänner in Växjö and carried on to Djuret, Oaxen krog, Restaurang Volt, Omakase köttslöjd and latest as a chef at Restaurang Flickan.

I have always been very competitive. In high school, I started to compete in cooking competitions which led me further to other competitions after school, like Worldskills and Nordic cup. 2009 I was declared as this years ”Future promise” at the Restaurant gala. On my merit list is also an Olympic gold medal with the Swedish junior national team and finalist in ”Chef of the year” 2015. This year I was declared for this year’s ”Rising star” by the Swedish restaurant guide called White guide.
